In Partnership with EPA's AgSTAR

Published: January 14, 2015 by Editorial Team

The Climate Trust has entered into a voluntary partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) AgSTAR Program. The Climate Trust’s Senior Project Analyst, Liz Hardee, is serving as the designated AgSTAR Coordinator for the State of Oregon in the effort to improve the rural environment and economy by supporting the development of livestock manure methane recovery projects. The coordinator’s role is to update AgSTAR on anaerobic digester (AD) projects throughout Oregon and identify potential project sites, as well as track state policies and promote project development through outreach and education initiatives. We’re pleased to embark on this partnership and look forward to making a real impact in Oregon.
