What We Do

Careers

Since 1997, The Climate Trust has built our work and reputation on the trust that landowner partners have in our people.

Our nonprofit status allows us to specialize in developing small, niche, or first-of-their-kind projects that provide wider market access to landowners, managers, and partners. As pioneers and innovators in the carbon offset market, we seek people who have the passion to instigate real change, and the expertise to deliver.

We are a nimble team that meets complex carbon projects with a creative, can-do mindset.  Serving as a bridge between landowners and carbon markets, we finance both small and large-scale projects.  From start to finish, our expert team manages everything in-house. This includes initial site visits to the development, funding, management, and marketing of carbon projects and offsets. By working on the leading edge of the market, we are uniquely qualified to provide practical insights to governments, carbon registries, and other policymakers to increase carbon market transparency and trust.
