The Climate Trust was honored for the second year in a row as one of the 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon, ranking no. 13 for small organizations.

More than 150 nonprofits and approximately 5,000 employees took part this year in Oregon Business magazine’s seventh annual 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon survey. Participants came from a wide variety of sectors, including social services and environmental advocacy; rating their satisfaction with work environment, mission and goals, career development and learning, benefits and compensation, and management and communications.

“The Climate Trust is proud to be recognized alongside such a reputable group of organizations,” said Sean Penrith, executive director for The Climate Trust. “We value our people and their long-term happiness makes for measurable and high-quality climate solutions.”

“The Climate Trust is actively building a company and culture that is standing the test of time,” said Karena Gruber, director of operations for The Climate Trust. “We’re excited at the prospect of expanding our team in the New Year, while maintaining our positive culture during this period of growth.”
